Three more sleeps until we move into our new abode! It's the cutest blank canvas - literally, we don't even have a fridge! But we do have a bed to dream in and... beautiful floorboards, fresh white walls, floor to ceiling windows looking out at lush greenery, a balcony, a real kitchen (!!! after living in the equivalent of a shoebox for the last two years, this is like heaven !!!). 

I can't stop flicking through mags and trawling through blogs and online stores for decorating inspiration!

Detroit Rock City

What started out as a creative outlet for Kevin Bauman, has now turned into a full fledged documentary-like project, '100 Abandoned Houses', capturing abandoned houses around his home town of Detroit.

Detroit has the same land mass to hold all of San Fransisco, Boston and Manhattan Island... yet a dramatically declining population of approximately 800,000 citizens. These images symbolise this dramatic decline of the once great city and, in Bauman's words, are 'amazing, depressing and perplexing'.
