Greenhouse by Joost
Greenhouse by Joost is quite possibly the greenest building on Earth. Absolutely everything is recyclable or sustainable. Watch this video created by The Design Files blog and be inspired by Joost Bakker himself.

Floating Home
Pia Jane Bijkerk styles and photographs beautiful things and has also penned two gorgeous books, with a third on the way. She divides her time working and living between Sydney, Paris and a houseboat in Amsterdam. Yes, a houseboat. She also has a sweet little blog. It makes my heart ache for Amsterdam and Paris.

Emmanuelle's First
Emmanuelle Alt's first Vogue Paris cover as editor in chief has got my heart all in a flutter. Giselle, that lighting, that sheer, lace dress - je t'aime!

Petals and Split Stems
I'm lucky to have some beautiful, inspiring people around me. Each day these guys fill my life with love and light by simply existing. One of them is my bestie/left limb - Georgie. She creates some super cool shoes that make your trotters look pretty fab. A couple of months ago I loaned my 'stems' for a photoshoot showing off her latest designs... and the results are spectacular. No, your eyes aren't deceiving you - crazy croc and goat fur feature heavily throughout the collection. Click to Georgie's blog here to get some love and light of your own.

All hail the Rice Paper Queen
It's official - I'm obsessed. Thoughts of food haunt my every waking moment and my knees go weak at the discovery of new venues/recipes to delight my taste buds. It's becoming something of a worry that I can eat my beautiful boyfriend under the table. Aren't man stomachs supposed to be bigger? Not according to the food baby that I seem to be nursing in my belly on most days.
My most recent culinary expedition involved checking out Melbourne's newly opened Miss Chu. Up until recently, Miss Chu's Vietnamese hawker-style delights were exclusive to NSW, so you can imagine my delight upon discovering 'the Rice Paper Queen' had parked her infamous powder blue electric delivery bikes at 297 Exhibition Street.
Our experience was rowdy, fast and fun, with a yum cha style ordering system (you tick the boxes on the menu next to the dishes you want). Our picks on the night were ALL amazing, and consisted of: tuna sashimi rice paper rolls, duck and banana leaf rice paper rolls, steamed BBQ pork buns, the cutest little traditional duck pancakes, pork dumplings, scallop and prawn dumplings, hawker-style pork spring rolls, wagyu beef vermicelli salad.
The result? A very satisfied Vietnamese food baby. Check out the menu here and be prepared to drool.

Confetti System
Just beautiful. Shaggy, multi-coloured tissue paper garlands, fringed pinatas in geometric shapes...basically what I wish my childhood birthday parties were made of.
